This was the case for the Consorzio Riva Sinistra Stura, which manages the entire irrigation network from the intake on the Stura river in Viù to serve agriculture and industry in the surrounding municipalities. All hydraulic nodes are constantly monitored and controlled remotely thanks to RETUNER® technology, ORCHESTRA’s suite of products, which relies on cloud components supported by an IT infrastructure provided by SHT.

Similarly, in a manufacturing context involving metal parts processing at F.O.M.T. spa and chocolate production at Dolcella srl, the interconnection of machines and production lines with ORCHESTRA’s MES (Manufacturing Execution System) is ensured by the network infrastructure and server provided by SHT.

MES systems act as the conductor that must manage and coordinate the different stages of the production process in a manufacturing company. Thanks to RETUNER®, machines/plants are interconnected with the customer’s factory systems, thus becoming part of the company’s system for monitoring, controlling, and managing production. This interconnection allows the client to obtain real-time data necessary to make improvements that increase the efficiency of their production process.
