Monitoring environmental impacts for more sustainable production
2024
Sustainability is the keyword of the new Transition Plan 5.0 launched by the Italian Government.
On the environmental front, achieving sustainable production implies that companies have the capacity to measure their environmental impacts and adopt technologies to improve the efficiency of their production processes.
CSA Sicurezza & Ambiente and CSA ENGINEERING are consultancy entities that address significant environmental issues within a company, such as:
- Waste management/disposal cycle management
- Management of emissions into the atmosphere
- Workplace safety management and related training
- Design and execution of works for energy requalification of buildings
Established in Monza in 1991 as a specialized center in pollution source analysis, CSA – an acronym for Centro Studi Ambientali (Environmental Studies Center) – has focused its attention and interest on environmental regulations, waste disposal, and safety and health in the workplace. Together with the client, it develops a comprehensive project, identifying the best solutions to be adopted within the specific corporate reality.
CSA has chosen Orchestra as a partner to offer its clients Industry 4.0 and 5.0 projects for the digitization of machines, plants, and production lines in order to improve production efficiency and control environmental impacts.
Thanks to RETUNER®, machines/plants are interconnected with the client’s factory systems, thus becoming part of the company’s production monitoring, control, and management system. This interconnection allows the client to obtain real-time data useful for defining their environmental impact and making necessary improvements to increase the sustainability of their production.
The XMes component of RETUNER®, in particular, can monitor and define the energy consumption of each process and for each individual piece produced, enabling the company to access the benefits of the new Transition Plan 5.0.
