CBL UTENSILERIA INDUSTRIALE MOVES TO DIGITAL WITH ORCHESTRA

The adventure of CBL Utensileria Industriale began in 1980 in Costa Volpino (BG) from an intuition of Carletto Bertoni. Initially housed in a space of just 120 m2, the company set itself the ambitious goal of satisfying its customers’ needs with professionalism. The path towards excellence saw a key moment in 1997, with the obtaining of the ISO 9002 Quality Certification, a goal achieved after a journey started in 1994 and subsequently enriched in 2003 with Vision 2000 and in 2015 with ISO 9015.

1992 marked the inauguration of the new company headquarters, originally measuring 3,000 m2 and now expanded to 8,000 m2. This is thanks to the acquisition of a new adjacent warehouse, dedicated to the repair and sale of machine tools and forklifts. This expansion has allowed CBL to enrich its offering with impeccable services and products always available in stock, maintaining a philosophy of continuity and quality.

The constant commitment to improving quality methodologies has profoundly influenced the company organization. From 25 employees in the 1990s, the team has grown to over 70 members, expanding its areas of intervention and assistance centers.

INDUSTRY 5.0 FOR SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURING: A WINNING PARTNERSHIP

Today, CBL Utensileria Industriale is synonymous with excellence, able to offer technical consultancy, sales, rental and rapid and qualified delivery services, responding effectively to every request.

And it is precisely in the current context of the digital era that it is essential for machine tools to have solutions that respond to Industry 4.0 and, now, also 5.0 models, offered in “turnkey” mode. For this reason, in 2023 CBL chooses Orchestra as a strategic partner to digitize its products and facilitate the access of manufacturing customers to the incentives provided by the 4.0 and 5.0 Transition Plans. Orchestra offers CBL customers a complete “Transition 5.0” package, which includes technology for monitoring energy consumption in relation to production, as well as case management and appraisal services.

WHY RETUNER®?
The introduction of RETUNER® technology brings a series of advantages:
• CBL machines can be easily connected both to company ICT systems and to other machines and production lines.
• Customers have access to certified and normalized data, which allows them to control, monitor and manage production in real time.
• Business Intelligence (BI) functions, integrated into the MES system, provide information on production performance, offering entrepreneurs tools to evaluate and improve the competitiveness and resilience of the company.
• The new functions of xMES, the extension of RETUNER® miniMES, allow you to measure corporate sustainability objectives starting from energy consumption, also integrating the supply chain.

PARTNER’S WORDS
“Orchestra: a company available not only for standard applications but also active in the specific requests of each customer” declares today Carletto Bertoni, owner of CBL Utensileria Industriale.
