The RETUNER architecture allows SMARTEdge5.0 NG to exchange data and information through both cabled and wireless connections, using the SMARTEdge5.0 NG system software.
The data collected is safe and certified and allows the monitoring of the machines, planning of efficient maintenance and to keep control of timings and costs of production lots.
Using AI algorithms SMARTEdge5.0 NG Next Generation manages real-time machine edge processes, integrating technologies such as augmented reality for training young workers and supporting shopfloor workers and maintenance staff.

Architecture
The RETUNER solution, placed between the factory and the organizational structure, connects and integrates the two levels according to a model of loose coupling. The main advantage is that the two levels can evolve independently over time, allowing for the change of machinery on one side or the replacement of application software on the other, without affecting their interconnection and integration.
